U.S. Civics Test Classes
Join other community members to learn and prepare for the U.S. Civics Test!
Program Description
Khmer Maine is launching a hybrid, weekly U.S. Civics Class for Khmer community members preparing for naturalization interviews and tests as part of the naturalization process (becoming a U.S. citizen). Participants will gather weekly at a local classroom/conference and connect virtually to receive instruction. The goal of this hybrid approach is to facilitate opportunities to build community and socialize with other community members on the pathway to citizenship. Participants will be quizzed and tested on an ongoing basis by the instructor to measure progress and readiness for the U.S. Naturalization Test.
U.S. Civics Classes are offered as a service to community members free of charge. Participation in the classes does not guarantee passage of the U.S. Naturalization Test or citizenship.
Registration is required due to class size limitations.
