Khmer Maine staff, board, and volunteers are committed to assisting the Cambodian community with voter registration, rides to the polls, and translating and interpreting voting and ballot information.
Advocacy
Khmer Maine is a grassroots, nonpartisan organization that advocates for the Cambodian community on issues related to immigration, social support and safety nets, and food and economic security. We are a proud member of the Maine Immigrants’ Rights Coalition, which advocates statewide and in Augusta on behalf of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
Citizenship & Immigration Resources
Many of our community members are immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Community members can come to us to get connected to resources that can help them on their way to becoming a U.S. citizen.
